Hello Spring
Updated: Mar 9, 2021
For those of you who read my February newsletter, you will know I am unusually excited about Spring and nature this year. I'm bloody bored in lockdown and good weather lifts my mood like no other antidepressant. However, there is also exciting news in terms of the website. As I'm sure some have or will notice at some point, the website name has changed. Kind To Mind is now the official domain and title name for the blog and website, which is supporting the charity Samaritans via the Work For Good scheme. It's been a busy February setting all of this up but it feels great that it's up and running. The reason I changed the name is that I wanted to move more away from a blog about my personal story to a more holistic self-help recovery website full of great resources. However, the blog is still a great part of it and for those of you who have subscribed, you can now log in to the site and view your own personal account of blog posts.
Plan for Resources The plan over the next few months is to build up downloadable and practical self-help resources for the public. I am currently working on those relating to eating disorders, depression and anxiety. In order for these resources, which are supported by the NHS and other healthcare professions around the world, I need the word to get around. Please share the link www.kindtomind.org with friends and family who you think may be interested in supporting the organisation. Some of us just read the articles, some dip in and out of the self-help resources and some contribute themselves. However, you can help it is appreciated so much.
